A personal note from M. Joann Henry, RNC, MSHS, Founder of SSEP:
I will miss working and chatting with all of you, and planning the annual conference – which I will attend as long as I can. I wish all a happy and healthy 2022.
With much affection and friendship.The goal of SSEP is to improve pregnancy outcomes and long-term quality of life for women with diabetes and their offspring, which extend beyond birth for both mother and child.
SSE is intent upon continuing the vtal work established by SSEP, and to follow their mission statement:
We work with provider groups to increase their knowledge and delivery of care by:
1) Developing and/or endorsing events and activities that increase their knowledge.
2) Supporting multidisciplinary health care teams as they take a proactive approach, focused on healthy lifestyles.
3) Encouraging providers to involve the entire health care system, community and patient at all levels in supporting lifestyle changes that foster improved long-term health and quality of life.

As of 12/31/2021, we are in the process of closing SSEP, a Nonprofit Corporation. If you would lik a copy of the Letter of Reorganization please write to cindy@rnnces.com and request a copy.
While SSEP will close as a nonprofit, most services will still be available, including an annual conference.
Sweet Success Express will continue under the auspice of RNNCEs (www.RNNCEs.com), a for profit obstetrical education program that has supported and worked with SSEP for many years.
